Fractional-Order Control of Grid-Connected Photovoltaic System Based on Synergetic and Sliding Mode Controllers

Starting with the problem of connecting photovoltaic (PV) system to main grid, this article presents control a grid-connected PV using fractional-order (FO) sliding mode (SMC) and FO-synergetic controllers. The mathematical model connected grid together chain intermediate elements their systems. To obtain superior performance, robustness performance an SMC-type controller for udc voltage in DC circuit are combined advantages provided by flexibility synergetic currents id iq. In addition, these techniques suitable nonlinear systems, it is not necessary linearize controlled around static operating point; thus, achieved robust parametric variations provides required dynamic performance. Further, approaching synthesis controllers fractional calculus integration operators differentiation operators, proposes based on FO-SMC validation proposed through numerical simulations performed Matlab/Simulink comparing benchmark implemented Matlab/Simulink. Superior results obtained compared other types algorithms.
